Designed for hydraulic and lubrication applications, to be used in the field or on test benches, the GF series is easy to configure and available with a CAN (ID) or 4-20 mA output.
The CAN (ID) output connects directly into the Webtec HPM series of hand-held data-loggers, providing a high accuracy solution that is very easy-to-use as it eliminates the need for complex interface modules and manual programming as the flow meter is powered by the readout and the readout automatically recognises the sensor connected.
The design of the gear flow meters has been optimized for measuring a wide range of hydraulic and lubrication fluids with a very large range of viscosities, typically from 10 to 500 cSt. The gear flow meters can operate at pressures up to 210 bar (3000 psi) while offering precise measurement, typically 0.5% of indicated reading, at flow rates from as low as 0.1 lpm up to 150 lpm.
The use of high precision gears allows a defined volume per revolution of the gears within the housing, by counting the revolutions of the rotor the flow rate can be accurately determined. The meters are rated to IP66 making them suitable for use in dusty and wet environments.
