About the role:
Webtec are looking to recruit an Assembly Apprentice to join our production team.

Key responsibilities include:

• To learn how to build and test all products to drawing and meet tight deadlines.
• To understand our ISO9001 quality system and how that impacts on your role at Webtec.
• To spend time working in other departments to broaden your skills and knowledge of what Webtec does.
• To learn about Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
• To learn how to use the ERP system to ensure that all paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
• To make sure that any issues are reported immediately to the Assembly Team Supervisor or any other Manager/Colleague if Supervisor is not available, especially regarding anything Health & Safety.
• To be responsible for keeping the areas you are working in and around, clean, and tidy.
• To ensure that all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and to work in a safe and competent manner.
• To carry out any other duties that may be assigned by a line manager or a director.

Ideally you will:

• Level 4 or above in Maths and English
• Must have a genuine interested in engineering and therefore willing to commit to this apprenticeship training.
• Good IT skills
• Good attention to detail
• Self-motivate.
• Punctual
• Reliable
• Organised and Tidy
