Brexit Statement – February 2019

As Brexit date (29th March 2019) approaches, Webtec as a global multi-million pound fluid power company, with our HQ and manufacturing base in the UK is committed to offering continuity of service and supply to our customers, wherever you are in the world and whatever the final outcome.

For our customers in the UK there is no change. We have reviewed our supply chain to minimise the possible impact that Brexit may have on the small number of parts we import into the UK. Our UK location is the base for our R&D and manufacturing teams and makes us ideally positioned to meet all customer requirements.

For our customers in mainland Europe we will continue to support you from our offices in the UK, France and via our rep office in Germany and we are working closely with our logistics and distribution partners to ensure that goods are delivered or stocked to minimise disruption.

In addition, to further strengthen our commitment to delivering excellent customer service to our European customers we have established a new trading company called Webtec (Europe) GmbH, based close to Düsseldorf. During 2019 this will become our new European headquarters and will continue to offer the same level of service and expertise that you currently receive, but with a German company.

For our customers outside of Europe we are continuing to invest in our local offices in the USA and Hong Kong and our long-standing network of distributors worldwide to ensure seamless business trading during any transition period.

If you have any questions or concerns about the supply of goods from Webtec because of Brexit, please ask your local Sales contact and we’ll be happy to discuss this further.
