Local Somersham charity ‘We are MENtal Health’ has received its first donation of £250 from Webtec UK, after it was chosen as the company’s charity of the year.
We Are MENtal Health’s aim is to get men talking in the local community and provides safe spaces where men can open up, share experiences and receive support where needed, in confidence.
Donations help to keep the group running by covering room costs, generating interest and raising awareness to new members and will also be used to provide other outlets outside of the group chats, such as sports and creative activities. Webtec recognises the struggles that mental health can bring and has its own Webtec Wellbeing Group within the organisation. It is open to all employees, and actively supports health and wellbeing both physically and mentally to all its colleagues.
