Improving the performance of hydraulic machinery worldwide
Each year we choose a local charity who we can work with and raise much needed funds through various activities such as raffles, competitions and fun activities. We are pleased to announce that this year our chosen charity is Dreamdrops, a Huntingdonshire children’s charity, who make a real difference to children and families who use hospital or specialist children’s health facilities.
Dreamdrops provides those little extras that are not covered by NHS funding but which make a hospital stay more comfortable , or less stressful, for children and their families. The charity's work doesn't just stop at the hospital door, as funds are also used to help sick children who are being cared for at home. The charity aims to make life a little easier, when it can be at its most stressful. From high-tech 3-D machines to take children's minds off their treatment, to portable monitors that can make the difference between a child being allowed go home with Mum and Dad, or spend another night on a ward.
We have already started fundraising with £120 in the pot and more will be raised during the coming months.
More information on Dreamdrops can be found at Dreamdrops | Huntingdonshire Children's Charity or on its Facebook page.
