Your role as CNC Apprentice is to learn how to set and operate the CNC machines in a safe and competent manner and to work as part of a team producing high quality machined components for assembly into finished products. Supported by the employer, the successful applicant will study towards a Level 3 Machining Technician Apprenticeship qualification. Year one is about providing a firm base, while also gaining an overview of how a company works. In addition to working in the machine shop, you will gain an insight into the wider teams, including Engineering, Assembly and Test, Production control, Inspection, Sales, Business support, Finance and HR.
