Webtec is pleased to introduce Sam Drummond, the latest member of its expanding Global sales team. Based at the company’s HQ at St Ives in Cambridgeshire, UK, 18-year-old Sam commences a new role as Outbound Lead Generator. This is also the first ever Technical Sales apprenticeship position at Webtec and will be developed as an integral part of the Sales group going forward.

Working closely with the Business Development Manager, Sam will be responsible for supporting the existing Territory Managers to provide a qualified and consistent lead funnel that supplements Webtec’s ongoing sales and marketing activities. Sam will also be working hard to identify, qualify and develop new strategic target accounts.

On joining Webtec, Sam commented; “This is a really great opportunity for me and I am looking forward to working with the Sales teams in my new Technical Sales role. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to learn about the hydraulic measurement and control business and meeting and talking to customers will be an important and exciting part of my training”.
