Webtec’s Outreach team had a great visit when they attended the recent annual Careers Day at the St Ivo Academy, St Ives.  Once again, it was an opportunity for year 9 pupils to meet with local employers to get an insight into the various job and training opportunities locally.

Webtec was represented by Joshua Spilett and Mithat Sayin, who were instrumental in planning the event and spent the morning talking to the pupils and answering their questions on apprenticeships, engineering and the companies’ products. Pupils were particularly interested in the robot arm display.

Josh and Mithat explained the benefits of working at Webtec and invited everyone to take part in the work experience opportunities available.  They also talked to other local companies regarding possible sales opportunities.
