It’s been a busy first year at Webtec’s european service facility in Leverkusen, Germany. Opened in November 2022 to offer full-service capabilities for Webtec’s hydraulic measurement and control products, including calibration, inspection, testing, repair and rebuilds, its’ Central European customers have benefited from shorter turn-around times, thanks to simplified logistics and the more direct service that the centre now offers.
Webtec invested 250k€ last year in specialist equipment, facilities and staff to develop the Service Centre and also introduced an annual service package and fixed price repair, which provides a simpler method to have testers inspected, safety checked and calibrated. This offering reduces the time needed for quoting and helps to streamline the process.
Patrick Neubert, Webtec’s Business Development Manager for Europe, commented, “Our Central Europe facility is now firmly established and we have seen our service capabilities grow this year, which has had a positive impact on the expansion of our European business.”
