Are you a recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering? Do you want to launch your career in an innovative, hands-on engineering role with real-world impact? Webtec is looking for a passionate and driven Project Engineer to join our dynamic team!
As a Project Engineer at Webtec, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, from the initial idea all the way through to product launch. You’ll be part of a talented, multi-disciplinary team, contributing your expertise while gaining experience across different engineering disciplines. This is your chance to take on a critical role in the development of cutting-edge products that are used globally!
What You’ll Do:
- Research & Innovation: Contribute to the development of new products and expand Webtec's product range with fresh ideas and insights.
- Hands-On Design Work: Use your CAD skills (preferably SolidWorks) to design products, with support from experienced engineers and access to all the tools you need to succeed.
- Collaboration: Work with both internal teams and external suppliers to source components and ensure your designs come to life smoothly.
- Product Rollout: Assist in introducing new products into manufacturing, and help train the sales team to promote these innovations.
- Ensure Quality & Compliance: Design products that meet both internal engineering standards and international regulations, ensuring high-quality, safe, and environmentally responsible solutions.
- Engineering Support: Provide technical assistance across all departments, learning from real-world challenges and contributing to the success of the team.
- Continuous Learning: Stay engaged with the company's systems, participating in audits and internal reviews to improve processes and quality.
What We’re Looking For:
- A recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A passion for designing innovative products and solving engineering problems.
- Familiarity with CAD software, especially SolidWorks, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to get involved in all stages of the project lifecycle.
