Webtec Products Ltd, the St Ives hydraulic measurement and control specialists has opened its sixth global service centre with HTM Hydraulics Pvt Ltd - its authorised distribution partner in India. The two companies have been working together successfully for over 30 years, and this is the perfect time to offer a service facility to customers in this growing economy and to expand on the capabilities and expertise that HTM has in hydraulics.

The agreement is part of Webtec’s global strategy to offer the same high level of service and support to customers through specially selected partners who have the same business and technical values in areas where there is no Webtec owned facility.

The service centre has been fully funded by HTM and is based at its Bangalore facility.  It was completed in just four months and is kitted with the same testing equipment, both hardware and software, and an identical data acquisition system as used by Webtec.  A full training programme has been implemented by Webtec to ensure that the team are fully experienced and qualified and a full audit will be carried out annually.  Software updates will be carried out via the cloud system which will ensure that this new service centre will mirror Webtec’s own testing centres.
