Webtec digital pressure gauge now offers data-logging capability

The proven and highly popular HPM110 digital pressure gauge from Webtec is now available with a USB interface to facilitate data logging. This optional version with real-time clock records both current measured pressures, as well as the minimum and maximum values. Users can transfer the stored data to a PC or laptop in CSV file format, where they will see a time and date stamp against recorded pressures. Such data sets are particularly useful for trend analysis or if there is a specific system event that requires investigation.

Webtec’s HPM110 digital pressure gauge offers the continuous monitoring of oil, water and other pressure media in mobile equipment, industrial hydraulics and process control equipment. This hand-held device, which weighs just 500g, provides an economical solution to monitoring pressure and peak pressure.

Featuring a back-lit visual display for simple operation, the screen simultaneously displays information that includes actual pressure, peak pressure, battery level and the measurement units selected. Buttons on the front panel are used to make, adjust and clear settings accordingly.

The HPM110 has a maximum rated pressure of 600 bar (8700 psi) for fluids in the temperature range of -20 to 80°C, while accuracy is ±0.5% at full scale.

Installation in any orientation is also possible (if required) using a standard test point, or via permanent system connection. No electrical connections are necessary as the plug and play HPM110 is battery-operated. To tolerate service in challenging environments, the body material of the device is a robust zinc die casting with a protective TPE rubber cover. Most of the internal components are stainless steel, with NBR seals to provide IP67 ingress protection rating (IP65 data-logging model).

The unit is available in four models for each version (the data-logging unit comes with a kit): 0-100 bar or 0-600 bar (M16 x 2 porting); and 0-1500 psi or 0-8700 psi (7/16” UNF porting).
