About the role
We are recruiting for a Machine Shop Operative to work with our Finishing Team Supervisor to ensure manufactured components are ready for use by our assembly department – largely by conducting second operations work on output from our CNC team or from our suppliers.  The role includes tasks such as deburring components, using a centreless grinder (full training provided), managing raw material deliveries and emptying swarf bins.

You will be required to use a forklift and previous experience will be desirable though full training will be provided.

Hours
The company works a five day week - Monday to Friday 39-hours
Monday to Thursday - 8:00 a.m. to 4.30p.m.
Fridays - 8:00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

These times include half an hour unpaid lunch break and two short coffee breaks during the day.
