The first show took place at Hillhead in 1983, since when it has grown to be the largest event of its kind in the world. The show is organized by QMJ Publishing Ltd, who also produce Quarry Management, the monthly journal of the Institute of Quarrying, and www.Agg-Net.com, the portal web site for the aggregates and recycling industries. Although the dates are not yet fixed, the next show is planned to take place in June 2016 and staff will be on hand to discuss expressions of interest.
