Webtec recently exhibited at two major trade fairs in China, Power Transmission and Control (PTC Asia) and Bauma which serves the Construction machinery market, both events were held at the Shanghai exhibition centre in late 2014 and are growing in stature as international events attracting a high number of visitors from outside the Asian market.

PTC was very well attended with a good number of leads generated.  Specific interest was shown in Webtec's new VFD190 hydraulic flow control valves identified by many visitors as the ideal solution for controlling hydraulic motor speed for high flow and high pressure applications, such as found in mining and construction.

Despite a slow down in the Construction machinery industry during 2014, Bauma was a lot busier than PTC and exit figures showed it was the best attended Bauma ever with 191,000 visitors over 4 days. Webtec exhibited on the UK pavilion in an area of very high traffic which generated a significant volume of leads.  While customers showed interest in many products, particular interest was shown in the HPM6000 series of advanced hydraulic data loggers, both for on-site diagnostic testing as well as for use on small hydraulic test stands.
